Correct me if I'm mistaken, but don't you buy the software and then use the "credits" to tune different cars? Its their way of making sure that people don't share software. So if you get enough ppl in on the initial software purchase, you could come out ahead.

Updates to the software may be a bitch if you don't have a liscenced copy of the CD though...

ok, you buy the software and it comes with 8 credits, you need 2 credits to unlock each car to tune it. so get someone to go 50/50 with you and then you will get the software and one person takes 2 of the 8 credits and the other takes 2 of the 6 left and your golden. leaving 4 credits and 2 more cars that can be tuned with that software.

That is what I was saying. I'm willing to go in on this, the only thing I want to know is how updates/new releases work. Does everyone with registered credits get the updates, or only the person who made the initial software purchase?

you dont have to unlock every single car

there's several different ways to use your credits.

you could either use 2 and unlock your VIN number only (it will only work on your car)
or, you can use 4 and unlock any car your model and year

I have a suspicion that any year eco would all work no matter what.

not sure about other engines since some of them had differing electrical systems.
