Whats the law in pa for having relectors in the rear? I'm wonder becuase i shaved my center peice on my Sunfire and i painted over the reflectors on the sides of it, Then i replaced my rear bumper with a 00-02 rear and it doesn't have the reflectors like my 98 rear did. So now i have no reflectors in the rear. I havn't been bothered yet but i want to make sure that im legal if i do get pulled over.

See if you can find a set of 00-02 coupe tails. They have the reflectors built in (on the inboard side of the lenses).

Most states require reflectors of some sort in the rear...

well theres another problem lol i have APC tails, the retro ones. Well im plaing on redoing the center peice so maybe i'll mold the 98 stock bumper reflectors into it somehow. Think that would be good?

The tails should have a reflector built in (on the lens itself) so it can have DOT cert.

Check that, and if they have a reflector, you are good to go. You may get harrassed by cops while you are driving, but kill the lights and show them that you indeed have reflectors.

Another thing you can do is purchase some reflective clear paint and give your tail lenses a quick coat...

i got pulled over once and the cop compained about my black corners. he said that they didnt have reflectors and they were illegal, so i killed the lights and he put his flashlight right on the darn reflector and still said they werent there, so i got a ticket. So basically it depends on the cop. This was right outside of York, Pa, btw

Generally the law is, when viewed from the side , cars have to have yellow reflectors in the front and red in the back.

Now, they don't have to be in the light lense themselves if its that way from the factory.

I.E. some luxury SUVs, or like the Sunfire.
They have the reflector in the bumper rear and its red.

For the front though, it has to be yellow somewhere without a light.

But since practically every car from the factory has the yellow lense in the light housing, that's the first place folks (cops) will look.

You will need the reflectors on the rear. Because the factory tail lights I don't believe provide enough reflectiveness. Plus it was there from factory.
