Old Silver Beach - Falmouth, Mass
FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO MEET UP EARLY AND CRUZE TO THE BEACH TOGETHER:
Meet up at the big Black and Red Tugboat right at the beginning of the Bourne rotary ( off of Rt 25) at
11:00 a.m.
HOW DO I GET THERE?
You take either
195 East ( from CT / RI ) or
495 South (from anywhere in Mass and points north ) To the end of 495 - The road changes numbers to Rt 25. Thats how you know your getting close...
The Tugboat is located right off of the exit
right before the Bourne Bridge. If you go over the bridge, you have gone too far!!
WHERE ARE WE GOING FROM THERE?
Old Silver Beach is located on Route 28. For those not meeting up early, Just follow the signs for route 28 - Falmouth / Old Silver Beach. The Beach is located in the town of North Falmouth right off of Rt 28.
It has its own exit, so its pretty easy to find.

Remember to bring your bathing suit, sunblock, and money for parking (around 10 or 15 bucks ) and money for food at the beach. They have a little grill that serves food and drinks, so nobody needs to bring any, since we won't be cooking on our own grills this time. You are allowed to bring you coolers, but no alcohol :drinking: or glass bottles. They also have outdoor showers to rinse off the sand/salt & bathrooms / changing area. This is a really nice, clean beach with lifeguards so bring the kids, too.
