Hey guys,

Me and the girlfriend leave next friday to head up to pennsylvania and a few other places up north. I was just seeing if there was anything worth stopping and seeing while im up in that region. Were gunna be in Penn for about 5-6 days and then we are heading back and planning on stopping randomly at places and trying to find @!#$ to do.

So if there is anything thats def worth stopping and seeing/doing let me know

There's tons of stuff in PA to see, just depends on where you are going and what you are interested in... Tons of historical stuff all over the state, for instance...

Have a great trip!

Yea, PA is huge.

I say, anywhere you go You will find things to do, BUT PLEASE dont slow down to look at the Amish, I am tired of tourist wanting to stop in the dam middle of the road, cause they see a horse and buggy and dont know what to do but follwoing instead of going around.

That's like me saying, "I'm going to Texas so if there is anything thats def worth stopping and seeing/doing let me know."

Texas is huge. PA isn't nearly as large, but it's still huge. You'd have to be a little more specfic about WHERE you'll be.

It's the Strasburg Railroad, not Strousberg. That might help in any web searches.

VisitPa.com is the state site for tourism, but when we get a location in PA, I'm sure the folks here can point you towards what to do. I'm in the Lancaster city area, Strasburg is close by.

Well i know i was pretty vague about where i was going to be but honestly im used to driving forever to get places so i was basically up for driving wherever in PA if it was worth the trip. I was just trying to get a general idea of where everything is and what all there is to do.

I am staying in a town (ill have to ask my GF what town it is exactly) but its up north by Scranton. Thats the area i will be in.

Thanks for all the info guys...We will prolly be there next monday or so...wish us luck on the roads
