Some of you may remember the good times that we had last summer, I know that there has been some issues within this past year (aka "the drama") but to tell you the truth I used to have a good time meeting in Columbia. How would some of you think about putting some feelings aside, calling a truce, and starting to meet up when there isn't much going on some Sat. nights?
Any comments/ideas/suggestions?

Steph, I actually told alot of people, including Karo that I have not clue what happened with us but I'm sad that our friendship turned out like it has. I have no problem putting all that crap in the past and forgetting about it as long as your willing to.
As far as meets, do you mean like what we had last year? Or finding another place we can go or something?
Please just let the past stay in the past and lets focus on meeting up in the future and having a few laughs and a good time. Laura wanted to see about doing something like a park would that be an option ?

nobody ever wants to come up to the events i suggest, so i gave up.
if i ever get the scoob running right, i'd be willing to stop out on occasion to the columbia meet...it's just a shame you guys insist on going so far back and sit in the darkest corner of that lot.
there's an autox on Saturday if anyone's interested, by the way...it would be a hike for some of you, since it's in Aberdeen, but it would still be fun.

Well honestly, if it's not like the same meets as last year I'd be down for it. I'm a little tired of the whole parking lot thing, esp when it's like 10 people that we could just go somewhere like Fridays or something.
OK, well here is an idea...why don't we figure out a weekly/bi-weekly meeting spot BUT we also do something like dinner/bowling/go-carts/etc. Somewhere that we can chill for a little bit but do something fun and in expensive?
Does that sound like an idea?
Plus I think we should have a BBQ at least one time. I know I can show up and bring food as long as there is a place. I think it would boost some of the morale for some of us?
Oh HELL YEAH burgers on a grill now your talking!!!!! You mentioned go karts how bout that place Rounding Third at the intersection of RT 1 and RT 100 ? They have go karts and all sorts of games and food and stuff and its right off the highway so its easy to find.

Josh's cousin works at the go cart tracks off route 1. There is an idea.
Then depending who wants to go, we could do like a AppleBees or something dinner like we did last year with everyone.
Keep the ideas rolling and then we can start figuring out dates. When are you guys free? I will be gone the first 2 Saturdays in July, other than that I'm good to go.
Well do we want to shoot for something this weekend? Maybe dinner or something?
I know the following weekend Josh and I are busy, I just don't know which day. I'd have to find out our schedule for stuff, but I know we have a few things going on in July and August. Just throw dates out people!!!

I will have to ask him...we were actually thinking about going to DC to look at the museums and stuff. That would be an all day thing that we could do as a group as well.
That sounds great but I'd need a little more notice for something like that. Besides this is fathers day weekend and my wife would kill me if I went out for the whole day and didn't take them, and shes working so you can see my bind.
Damn cause I could sure go for some of that freeze dried space ice cream from the air and space musem !

O no, he won't be here this weekend...he is flying in to spend next weekend with me, it has been a month since we have seen each other so he wanted to see me before I fly out there the following weekend.
