how about calling the station and ask to talk to one

I have called the MVA, 2 barracks, and a police station. I am getting the total run around about things to do and I am not happy about it. I'm just hoping someone might know someone who really knows what to do!

OK well long story short I got pulled over for my tint. BUT I have a medical note and was told just to send that in. I got told incorrect. Now I'm trying to figure it out and am getting the run around, no ones stories match and no one really has a clue what to do!

I just wanna know what I'm suppose to do. I've heard about 20 different stories and they keep sending me to different people!

Is it just about your tint? Basically a doctors note wont matter... 35% or nothing. You must remove it, get inspection stations to sign off, and if you want tint again then pay to have it put on again...

Friend just went through same this with his 20%... Also state trooper opinion wont matter you need the clearification from an inspection station...

get the tint removed. i think that allowance for medical reasons is no longer permitted.

Yeah, I know 2 people who had their tint approved for medical reasons. One for eye surgery and another for skin irritation. Both have their front window tinted. I don't have the front, and am suppose to wear dark tinted glasses as well. I'm just kinda pissed, because I was informed wrong the first time they won't give me an extention and it's due the end of this week. I was told I could have a trooper or police officer sign off if needed, but some either say no or that they don't know if they can. That's what I'm dealing with now!

Lauras right it has to be a State Trooper. Local cops can't do it. In fact if I'm not mistaken it has to be a State Trooper that deals with auto inspections. You can usualy go to any barrecks and get help from them. In fact that may be your best bet Kim, stop at a State Police barrecks and talk directly to an officer who deals with auto safty issues I bet he / she could tell you what to do. Either way your missing time from work this week to get this fixed.

Good luck.

1. I don't have any clue where any local barracks are. I know there is a station down from my house.

2. There is no way I can take off work this week...........thats another problem!

The College Park one is about 2 miles from my house...I dont have to work at my parttime job this week at night, PM if you wanna meet me at my house.

Things havent been the greatest between us, but I hate not knowing where something is and I understand your frustration so the invitation is open.

Why dont you ask the Dr. that cleared you. If you really do have a medical reason to have tint, then call your Dr who issused you the sticket in the first place, because if you lost it, he will have a copy. Im guessing you really dont?

No she actualy does have a doctors note for it due to her horrible migraines she gets if shes out in bright day light too long. Hence her always wanting meets at night. She she's not really a vampire but the bright light still hurts her.

Hey if shes got one food for her, and i know how the head aches go. I refuse to go the doctor for it so i dont get special tint exemption but from what i read in MD state laws, the Doctor gives you a sticker when he determinues you need it and has to keep it on file so you should be able to get a new one.

Carbon Queen. If you have a note, just go to court and tell the judge you couldnt find a cop that would clear but you do have a dr note..
