just wonderin if anyone knew the laws in PA about shaving the inner tails.......do you really need them or is it illegal? any input would help
thanks
i would think as long as you re locate your back up lights, you should be fine (in theory) i dont live in PA but i know that reverse lights are required on all cars in every state.
yeah if u shave them and put a set some where elas like a set of fog lights under the rear bumper they won't bother you
yes you need them to pass inspection, which is why i have an extra trunk lid. other than that ive never been bothered in 3yrs. ive been pulled over in pa with my lid and the cop never said a word to me.
Just need back up lights. Just watch what they check at inspections and that will give you and idea of what things are need on your vehicle.
alright thanks...i figured you would need some type of reverse lights, but i was unsure..thanks for all your input, i think im just gonna mount some type of lights under the bumper...thanks alot
My backup lights have not worked for a long time and I passed 2 inspections in PA like that...I think it may be the switch on the trans that is bad, but I never really got around to fixing it. I am due for inspection at the end of this month so maybe I will.
I've talked to police officers at my work and have been told it is completely illegal to paint your tails *which i had done to my 2nd gen eclipse* as for the relocating part i was also told it has to be a factory setup. Like alot of things it comes down to the officer. i was pulled over for an out of date registration in my eclipse and they did nothing, or say anything about my tails but made me take my tint off =/.
