SYRACUSE RESTURANTS
Tuesday, March 28, 2006 2:55 PM
hey guys. do you know of any good resturants in Syracuse? thing is, im kinda seeing this girl from up there. im supposed to hang out with her in about 2 weeks. i want to take her out to a really nice resturant so she knows im serious about her. Nothing highly expensive though. Then i would like to take her somewhere else. not like the movies because i cant talk to her. Is there any nice places to walk around? this sucks because im not from syracuse.

Most Famous place to eat would be...

Dinosaur BBQ- which is downtown Syracuse just outside clinton square. ( excellent ribs)

other places are...

Delmonico's - (Erie Blvd) has some great italian and price very well.
Ricco's - (Bridge street ) is a little higher in price, but amazing Italian
Angotti's - Hugh portion of italian food, and really cheap. ( Burnette ave. )
Brooklin Pickle - Huge Sandwiches but are only open for lunch ( West Genesse street, and Burnette ave.)
Ichiban Japanese Steakhouse - (Old liverpool road) stay away from sushi tho ,They cook right in front of you. They are a little higher in price.
Outback steakhouse - (Erie blvd) has great food.
Colorado Mining Company - ( Buckley Road) Great steakhouse and priced right!
Juanita's Mexican restuant - (court street) Great mexican food and cheap!

That should start you off...

sweet. thanks so much. ive heard of that dinosaur place. how are their prices? comparable to like ruby tuesdays and stuff like that?

after dinner, i wanted to take her to a place where we can walk and talk. im tired of going to the movies. haha. so whats a good place to walk around? like if you ever been to lake george, you can walk on the street and there are nice stores. Even a place to sit down and have coffee.

Well if you want ribs with the girl, they have this thing called the " sweetheart special" which is a full rack of ribs, and 4 sides for something around $20 bucks. But yea the are priced reasonable. Shouldn't be more than $30 for a full meal for 2 with drinks and tax.

As for places to walk, we have the carosel mall which is huge and alot of stores, or we have onondaga lake park and the parkway. Its 3-5 miles where you can walk or bike or roller blade w/e... Then downtown there is Armory square with a few pubs, shops, etc. They have a great wood heated brick oven pizza shop aswell called Movino's... killer food and wicked cheap. I' ve taken a few dates there.

I suggest Dinosaur BBQ. And if you're still with her the next morning, hit up Stella's diner.

The mall isn't that big huh. We'll, guess you'll have to come back up in a few years. Then you will see a big mall.
