FS: 01 Cavalier 2.2/Auto - 23000 miles - $6800 OBO

Well, the time has finally come - I'm getting rid of the Cavy. Here are the specs on it:

2001 Cavalier
23000 miles
One owner
2.2L motor
4-speed automatic
Power locks with keyless entry (2 remotes)
Factory moonroof
Remote start
Tilt wheel
Cruise control
15" GM alloy wheels
New ceramic brake pads and PowerSlot rotors
Rear spoiler
Alpine CDA-7892 CD receiver
Alpine SPS 1729S 6.5" speakers in front doors
Infinity REF6952i 6"x9" speakers in rear deck
K&N drop-in filter
95-99 Sunfire SE sideskirts
Clear corners
32% window tint
Sylvania Silverstar headlights and corner lights
Driving lights w/ 3000K bulbs
Redline Tuning hood strut kit

I'm asking $6800 or best offer. I think that the price is very reasonable, considering how meticulous I am about my car (there are no dents, dings, etc.). The interior looks brand new, and the exterior looks like it's a one-year old car, and not 5. Everything functions exactly like it should. I'm just ready to move on. I've had this thing for almost 5 years now, and I'm just getting tired of it. It's never been raced (cause let's face it, you're not gonna win any races with it ). The oil has been changed every 3000 miles (have receipts). Overall, it's a great car that I think is being sold for less than it's worth.

If anyone lives near Pittsburgh and would like to come look at it, let me know and I'll give you directions. Hell, if you don't want to buy it, ask your friends! I just have to get rid of it soon, because I'm 99% sure my new car will be here within 2 weeks.

I will have pictures tomorrow. I have to clean it all up and make it look good.

Thanks for looking... BUY IT!

KBB - $6100
NADA - $7200

I don't think it's too bad of a price... have you looked at what they're asking for Cavaliers lately? It's pretty ridiculous

As promised, pictures. I only got interior pics because the outside is still dirty (it rained today and I didn't have time to wash it).

I'll get the outside looking good tomorrow and have some exterior pics for you all.

Also, remember that my price is negotiable. $6800 is where I'm starting at

If I was to sell my 05 base auto (13,000 miles), with rims, spoiler and all performance goodies I would only ask for what I owe. Which is just about that. $6 ,790.08

Not saying your car is not worth that money, but most people wouldnt pay that for a five year old base car with the 2.2.

How many times do I have to say that THE PRICE IS NOT FIRM! $6800 is the starting point, not the end. That is the price that I think it is worth. I know I'm never going to get that much, but it makes me feel better about selling it if I ask that price.

Let me restate this again:
KBB - $6100
NADA - $7200
me - $6800

The only accessory not powered on the car is windows. There is a power moonroof and power locks with keyless entry. I don't really understand how that qualifies as "power nothing." I'm not selling a Lexus. You can only get so many power options on a Cavalier.

And I'm sorry if the shift knob offends you... I realize I'm not driving a Beetle, but I'm trying

I think what people are tryin to say is unless you lower your starting price, noone is even gonna look at it.

hahaha glad to see some people can still take a joke but seriously dude, i see 03-05 eco cavs going for that much regularly, and when your initial asking price is high, most people who would otherwise be interested think that you probably won't budge too far from it and chuckle to themselves and move on. Just friendly advice thats all.
