I'm not too sure about this, and sorry if it's a stupid question, but my car is due for inspectoin next month and right now I'm in the middle of installing sound dampening and painting my interior. I was wondering will my car pass with the back seat and back trim removed or should I put it back in?? It's not that its hard or anything but just pointless to put it in then just rip it out after a day. But if my car won't pass without it I guess Im going to have to put it back. The reason I don't just paint it ect.. and put it back is because it has been too cold out and I don't have a heated garage or it would be no problem. Thanks in advance.
im not sure but i wouldnt chance it anyway. atleast just sit the back seat in there
i had my whole interior out last month when i had my inspection, they told me to put the dash pad on since i had airbags and that was it, i would call the place yo are taking it to and ask them, that way you know for sure
ur fine... my dad is an inspection guy and he said you can have ur whole interior out they dont care as long as your air bags are covered up by your dash your fine.. they just want the airbag cover on so when t blows they can replace the windsheild
"Boost tuning"....... have you had your 8 PSI today?
future name of the winter shop!!!
It should be OK. I always go to the same place, and the guy that owns it is a friend of mine. I would avoid shops that have a reputation of being "picky," but really it should be fine.

Ok, thanks a lot guys. I forgot my uncle owns a welding shop where they do inspections, I should be fine. I just didn't want to go there and have him think I expect him to pass me on inspection just because he is my uncle, don't talk to that side of the family much.
I think it should be ok....
yeah, take it to a smaller business, don't take it to a dealer, they are anal about the stuff they have to look at to pass you.
after my accident 2 years ago, i had to get my car inspected as well, so the dealer i had do the body work, gave me a laundry list of stuff i needed to pass inspection. i took it to a jiffy lube, and they were like "you gotta get this one thing fixed, and we'll pass you", i was like sweet, so they took care of it, and i was on my way
