i'm looking to have my rims powder coated black or silver. Does anyone know of places in or around Pittsburgh that do a good job with powder coating? Also anyone know what a place would charge? I can't find nothing in the yellow pages. Also is powdercoating the way to go?

I have and people in my club have used Chuck a couple times and the work came out good. I haven't really talked to him though latly due to him getting really wierd. He started or was involved with some problems on a local forum and i sort of cut ties to him.
You can take that information or leave it. I know one of the guys in my club got his wheels doen some where else in Fayette County somewhere and it was only like 40 bucks a rim for his Evo. I'll have to ask him for the info.....

Brad said he had all 4 wheels powder coated the lips re polished, and one of the rims that got curbed, welded and fixed. Cost him 550 total and he said they look great.
I'm sure if you were just getting them poweder coated it would probably be cheeper since brad had oter stuff done aside form the coating.

I would not sent any work to him. He has screwed over 2 jbo members on here already (not includeing my self) AND has stolen a set of rim`s from a guy on a not local forum that me and Sight-N-Sound belong to.
Defently check out the 1st link i posted or the link Sight-N-Sound posted.
Unless you want your rims either screwed up or stolen. Thats your choice

I called him and he said he doesn't want to do my aluminum wheels, cuz he hasn't had good sucess with it or something.
I called that guy in Monessen a while back to see about some stuff. He came off as being a dick, acted like he was better than me because he knew how to polish. Because of him, I too know how to polish now.
