yeah so i have a kid on the way.... cant afford to put any more money into this car so i need to get rid of it. heres the deal on the car. 98 2.4L 5 spd, bright red,121K on it. transmisson was replaced at 69K it has.... intake, high flow cat, cat back exhaust, lowered w/ RKsport 1.75 spring and KYB GR2 struts and shocks, car customs upper mount, shifter was cut shorter.
the exterior: Rksport import fighter kit in black. lil crack in the front center and the paint is chipping off the drivers side skirt. it also has an aftermarket rear spoiler... not a metal wing. all the front ( bumper and corner ) lenses are clear.
the interior was originally tan and grey... i since replaced everything from the floor up w/ black interior except for the main dash. thats still the tan dash. its in good shape except for the a pillar on the drivers side and the bezel around the stereo and HVAC. ( the car was recently broken into, they stole my gauges and CD player out ) so yeah there is no stereo in it... speakers but no stereo.
I"m not gonna lie.... this car is a project car w/ everything. the motor is giving me trouble and i cant figure out why. ... drives fine in the AM... in the PM when i sit in traffic it'll spit and sputter like crazy till i turn it off and restart it then i can continue on my way.
New parts in the 6 months are: the struts and shocks, TPS sensor, MAP sensor, IAT sensor, coil pack, spark plugs, thermostat, timing chain, water pump, Fuel filter, O2 simulator on the post cat 02 sensor.
i also have a 2.4L motor from a 97 that i want to get rid .. hopefully w/ the car. i took it all apart, when i planned on rebuilding it. so its in peices but everything down to the bolts and nuts are labeled as to where they go. the motor looked in great shape but i think it needs new bearings... and a complete gasket kit, it could be back together. Other parts i have laying around... stock springs, stock front bumper,and a ECU ( needs reflashed )

did it sound like it was fluctuating in pressure, this would also cause a poor gas mileage situation. You probably are not getting a steady influx of fuel. I am still very interested and will be in contact with you.
