Hello everyone!

It's been awhile since I've posted on the .org but some might still remember me. Recently my water pump went on my cavy and I don't feel like fixing it. The car has 108,000 on it and I'm looking to get out of the modified scene and purchase a low maintence car that I won't be spending money on to modify.

There's two ways I'm looking to get rid of my cavalier.

A: For $2,000 someone could buy the car outright and have almost everything you need to customize a stock cavalier. All of the mods in my registry are up to date (the pictures are not) and if you do some research you'll find that you can save a lot of money by just purchasing the car outright.

B: Look in my registry and let me know what parts you would like off my car. Send me an IM to my SN Guinnessgoob and throw me an offer on what you want and what your willing to pay. When it comes to parting out the car I'm talking about everything besides the frame, and if you want the frame I'll sell that too.

I'd much rather just sell the car outright because I don't have much space or tools to part out the car piece by piece. I know I'll make more money if I part everything out but i'd just as much get it out of my tiny garage as soon as I can.

For the Mod: the reason I'm posting in here is because even though there's some things on the car that can be shipped, most of it is large objects. Also if someone buys the car since the water pump is busted there's no way to drive it a long distance.

I also forgot to add that i have 2 12" MTX thunder 4,000's with a sony xplod amp. Their old but they still sound great.

I'm interested, but I'd want the whole car if we could work something out... How far from Mansfield, PA are you? My sister lives up that way. I'm in Elizabethtown, PA down near Harrisburg.

Any other probs with the car besides the water pump? How do you know it is the water pump? When is inspection due?

BaggedCav98: I can easily fix it myself and continue to drive it but in all honesty I'm just getting tired of the whole customizing thing. I've realized that this car will never be finished and I'll never be able to just sick back and say "there I'm done". I've already spent the same amount of money on mods as I did on buying the car itself.

As for everyone else: Currently I'm waiting on PaPa Bear to get back to me on purchasing the entire car with everything on it. Hopefully he will get back to me by tonight and I can update everyone on the situation tomorrow.

thats fine but the way you worded it made it seem like just because the pump went, that you were gonna get rid of it. im the same way, im done w/ my car. im not dumping anymore money into it and considering parting it out for a 300c

Ok, the deal fell through so it looks like I'll be parting the cavy out hopefully over this weekend. Below is a list of what I'm selling and the price everything will be for. I posted in this forum because I'm hoping many of you can come and pick up the items instead of me shipping them. I live right next to Binghamton, NY. you can mapquest the city and figure out about how far you live. A brief location is that I'm about 3 hours from NYC, 3 and a half from buffalo, hour and a half from syracuse, and an hour from scranton PA.

17" Primax 618's wrapped in Dunlop SP's 235/45/17 (rims have some nicks and scratches, tires cost $550 and only have 4,000 miles on them) - $500

Ractive Racing Seats (all black, little dusty from sittin in the garage but includes all the sliders, just bolt into your cav) - $350

Xenon Body Kit (all urethane, retails for $1400 on erebuni.com, very few people have this body kit, brand new condition except for being painted) - $700

Infinity Reference 4652cfp speakers in front and Infinity Reference 9602i speakers in rear (fits stock openings) - $100

2 12" MTX Thunder 4000 Subs WITH a Sony X-plod amp (I got these subs used from a guy on the .org four years ago and they still sound great, I do not have the exact specs but if your just lookin to add some bass in your car these are perfect) - $250

As I stated above I'd appreciate it if those who are interested in these products are also willing to drive to pick them up. Also for those who come and pick up what they purchase I have all types of small things like vinyl wrapped visors and dyed headliner and rear deck and many other things i don't feel like listing in here.

Easy: It's an RK Sport single cat back exhaust, the price included a High Flow Catalytic converter. Sunday I'm gonna take it off and take some pics. I had a shop weld some seals together to prevent leaks, I'm not sure if they welded them all, none the less it's something you'd def have to pick up. price for the exhaust and cat is 300.

The interior is gutted so I can ship out any interior pieces on monday.

Also i forgot to mention that i'm selling the airbags for cheap so IM me if you need the airbags.
