I live in Atlantic City NJ. My car is a 97 2.4L Z24. 183,000 on the clock and the clutch is shot. My question is how much did you charge to have your cluctch installed and did you use any special clutch or anything? Please let me know. Thanks

The clutch price all depends on what you have done to your car or plan to do to your car. if you don't have any type of motor mod's really planned for your car then a stage 1 clutch should be fine All it is basically a stock clutch. THe price of installation will depend on the shops hourly rate and if they purchase it for you or you purchase it before hand. And some shops will charge you a certain percentage for not going through them for buying parts. make sure it is a reputable garage. i would say around $500 or more maybe and that is probably with parts i would say. Not really sure what mechanics charge in your area. I would think it shouldn't take more than 4 to 5 hours if the shop knows what there doing. but I could be wrong and someone that has had a shop do this before could probably help fill in the gaps a little better.
