Header install/welding in Buffalo?
Wednesday, February 08, 2006 9:05 PM
Just trying to figure where I'm going to take my car to have my full exhaust welded up when I get the car back on the road sometime next month. I also have a Pacesetter header that I bought used off a buddy of mine that he torched off his car and that needs to be welded, I don't see how I can even install it and clamp it together because of how/where he cut it. I'll be able to do the rest of the exhaust but I still need to have it all welded anyways. So basically I'd just like to know what shops do exhausts and welding in Buffalo?
T
hanks for the help.

also, i think its Muffler Man in buffalo that does upto 3" exhaust. they should be able to do it no problem. Advanced discount may not wanna mess with a header.

.................or we could get a welder, and practice our welding skills on it, lol jk

The only thing that absolutly needs to be welded right away is the header. Thats really my only concern. I'm sure if I bolt on the exhaust and just clamp it together, a shop would have no problem welding it then. Its just that the header needs to be welded because where and how my friend cut it off. I'd kinda just like to pick up a new header and get a stainless one! I'll have to see.

do you have pics of the cut? and do you mean it just needs to be welded to the downpipe?? if so, we could prolly just line it up under the car, then weld without welding under the car. but depends on what needs to be done
