Alright boys and girls, the clock is ticking down..... Exactly 28 days until ATCO reopens for the season, with a completely refurbished track surface, and whatever else they manage to get finished.
Below are the dates/time for opening weekend, anyone going please post what day you'll be there, any new mods you have over last season, and what your goal is for the day.
Fri March 3 430pm Street & Grudge Racing
Sat March 4 900am Test Tune All Cars/ NHRA Chassis Certification
Sun March 5 9am Test-Tune All Cars
Unfortunately, I work Friday night til 11, and Saturday morning (although if there's not a lot to be done at the plant, i might be able to bail, but i want to save as many days as possible for VW events in the summer).... so I'll be there on Sunday, probably when the gates open.... Who's with me?
The GT28R setup isn't going to be ready yet, but i'll be showing up packing some BFGoodrich G-Force T/A's, a high-flow turbo mani, and a 3inch turbo-back exhaust... not to mention an ecu that is no longer fighting itself... I'm thinking of trying some 104 octane and bumping up the timing with Lemmiwinks too.... I'm not going to set any goals, because every time i do, i don't meet them until months later.... But I managed a 13.6 with a totally f-ed up ECU, and 2.0 60' times on stock tires.... so I'd me more than happy to hit a 1.9 60' and trap 100-102mph.

Same setup as last time out, but back to the stock tb, and new trans (again). I want to beat my personal best, even if it's just a 13.2. And if Rich would let me, I'd like to run a 12.9 in his car, lol.
Sunday Jarret... the only day I can be guaranteed to be there... so yeah, come sunday... I'll pay your entry fee if you've got to take off work or something lol...

^^ Is your profile up to date? If so, you are not going to see a low 15 with those mods on an auto. Your slip in your profile says you cut a 2.2 60' yet ran a 15.9@83. Goodluck tho and if you have done other things now, disregard this.

im sure youll hit the 15s just fine. my late sedan (ecotec) 4spd auto ran 15.696 on just an exhaust set up. stock intake box and stock mounts, with stock 15" crap steelies and tires..i did have a extractor hood, but non of that woulda made much of a difference.
I should be there at least one of the days. Who knows what I'll end up running though.....

maybe some new meats for the front too... get some traction for a friggin change
and some other stuff... depends on how deep my pockets get before then
