Surf Boards

Hey yal. Well last summer my girl and I went down the Outbanks in NC and rented a surf board for a day. Needless to say I was hooked! And it worked out even better when my parent bought a condo on the beach Labor Day Weekend!

So in March her birthday and our Anni. is coming up. I was thinking about buying her a surf board along with myself getting one. I figured I could probally get a good deal if I go in to buy two.

I am about 5' 11" or 6'? and my girl (Ali) is about 5' (haha )

The board we rented was a 6' 8" and I did pretty good (specially for my first time) although I think the board was just a tad too big for Ali.

Anyone know and surf shops maybe in Ocean City, Maryland that would cut deals and help me out. Or maybe online that would help me out? I am going to need two beginner-ish boards.

PS. If this needs to be moved to Off Topic, sorry. Wasn't sure since I am looking for surf shops in MD

Theres a shop in Fenwick called Fenwick Island Surf Shop. Its right on the outskirts of OC when your going toward Bethany Beach. They have a nice little store there, and the people that work there are pretty cool too. I'm not sure if there open but you can call and find out.

what exactly are you looking for, cutters midsize, or long boards?

i know of a few places, mostly out of hawaii, but well worth the money. also new or used. i;d sell the ones i have, but kinda have more sent. value than anything for me. ones a 7 foot + long board, the other is a 6-2 cutter.

all depends on how much ya wanna spend
