I'm selling the air ride setup from a car that I purchased recently that I am taking back to stock (99 Cavi coupe from Mattdiggity). Here are some details fer ya:
AIM airride kit (cylinders -- not bags), 5 gal. air tank, 1hp compressor, all valves and tubing, 10 switches without the box. I also have some extra air tubing and an extra cylinder which has a slightly bent cylinder rod. I will also throw in a roll of teflon tape -- ohhh!

I am looking for $$ + your working (and in good condition) suspension setup.
(I decided that I am NOT looking for other trades for this... Sorry.)
Pick-up is preferred (Elizabethtown, PA), but I will ship it (from 17602) if the buyer picks up the tab for shipping/handling. I will take PayPal (you pay the fees on this, too), but I prefer a Money Order or Cashier's Check. No personal checks (unless I know you or know somebody who will vouch for you...)

what kit is that? im not really sure i like cylinders.PM me with a price.
nvm i didnt see the kit name. would this fit on 00+?
all suspensions from 95-05 are the same. if you buy the kit, i suggest upgrading the fitting. i met matt before but never got a chance to see his car so i dont know if he upgraded the fitting on the kit. he seemed pretty good w/ air suspensions so im guessing he probably did. if he didnt though thats the first thing i would check on the kit
Scotty: I'm not setting a price, just taking offers... Also let me know what suspension setup you would trade with the $$, too. It doesn't have to be a great setup, but a better one would garner more toward the deal, of course!
Bagged: Matt had mentioned that he had a few system leaks that he had fixed, but I don't recall him mentioning upgrading the fittings. How could I tell if the fittings have been upgraded? I will check and post back here... My guess is that they are not upgraded which could account for the "slow drop" that I noticed when the car would sit overnite...
Just a side note to anyone interested: I am not an airride guru, but I will try to answer your questions. I considered keeping the system and transferring it over to my Sunfire, but decided against it. It was fun for a bit, but it's not for me and I need the money.

well its easy to tell. if you can tell the difference between metal and plastic then you would know. aim fittings are crappy plastic fittings that break all the time. if there are metal fittings on the tank, then he probably upgraded the fittings.
as for the leak, that could be from the fittings just not being tight

papa bear - I have a full stock 00 suspension, get me on AIM sometime. also can you check and make sure it has metal fittings.
Scotty: Sorry, I don't use AIM, just email me...
I double-checked my close-up pix and the tank DOES have brass and steel (iron?) fittings. Mostly brass, but no plastic fittings that I can tell. You can see the brass in the main pic above. There is also brass tubing from the tank to the compressor with blue Type 3B Air Brake air line to each of the cylinders. Whoever buys this setup can have the bit of extra that I have + the lines that are run throughout the car.
I am going to be offline for a couple of days just so everybody knows... But I should be back up and running before Friday. I will check back with any posts/emails then...

Just to let everybody know, I'll probably keep this thread up for another week or so to see if anyone else is interested with reasonable offers.
Btw, the more details of your suspension setup that you provide (miles on, and manufacturer of shocks/struts/springs, etc.) would be greatly helpful. I'm gonna ask eventually...
