Sentencing Hearing Set for Monday in Charles Fires

Greenbelt, Md. (AP) - Three of the men convicted of setting the fires last December at a Charles County subdivision are scheduled to appear in court Monday morning for sentencing on arson charges.

The hearing for Jeremy Parady, Aaron Speed and Patrick Walsh is set for 9 am at U.S. District Court in Greenbelt.

Walsh was accused of orchestrating the more than two dozen fires that were set one year ago this week at the Hunters Brook development near Indian Head. The fires last December 6th destroyed ten houses and severely damaged 16 others. Most were under construction at the time, and no one was injured.
