Everything must go, parents suck!
Monday, November 07, 2005 12:26 PM
Well i pissed my parents off to a great extent and they are MAKING me get rid of my cav, they want their garage space back and no ifs and or butts, they won't even reason with me....

So this kills me to do this but, it all has to go!

Pacesetter Armor Coated 4-1 Long tube header. ( 1998-02 OHV ) $220 Shipped in US! Brand new, never installed and still in shipping box! Comes with Everything including O2 senor relocation kit and extra manifold gasket.

EuroLite brand Chrome Altezza's Will come with box proving they are authentic and not APC rip offs! They do not leak! I sadly paid $235 for them... lol... $150 shipped in US.

D.A.D. Racing seats. They are used, but have no rips or tears in them. For some reason the passenger seat has a very minor little ridge in the middle of it from the fabric stretching out a little bit, but all that needs to be down is have the fabric re-pulled. I bought them off Strat 81 in may.... I'd like to get $250 or b/o and preferable picked up and not shipped! I'll even swap the modified brackets for your stockers!

RD FABS CAI- For the 2200 OHV engine, Used but in excellent condition! ( Stainless steel and not Aluminum) i'll even throw in the K&N 3" filter but it needs to be cleaned, i ran out of the oil. $160 shipped in US.

As for the suspension, Eibach Pro kit ( -1.4" all the way around) and KYB AGX Adjustable dampening 4 way front and 8 way rear. Brand new AGX's were $430 for 4 and the Prokit was $238 Both were purchased at Advanced Auto parts and i will supply the receipts for these so if say one strut blows on you like one did me, you can deal with them rather than KYB themselves. They were put on in April of 05 and have roughly 2K miles on them. The car has been staionary since sept 9. I will let these puppies go for $525 shipped/ Shipping is going to hurt . picked up i'll do $490, i don't have the boxes for the struts :frown: I will only seperate these if i have buyers for both of them.

Taking these pics and sittin in my car for a minute i actually felt like apart of me was dieing. A tear came to my eye, slowly letting my first car go.

More will be added soon...... : Sigh :

Joe- No i have a 2003 PT crusier. They don't want the extra car around anymore.

Green98cavy- Got the e-mail, but for some reason it won't reply since i don't usually use that e-mail account. My car was is an automatic so i didn't need the clutch resovoir holder. You can order those from AEM i do beleive. The install is the same as every other CAI. You just need to remove all the old hardware wich is just a few bolts. To remove and install everything should take about 1 hr since you have to remove the "bong" from inside your fender.

Been trying to do that, but when they are divorced and one still pays for tuition untill i am emancipaded, which leaves with a year and half of living at home atleast! So i can't even bunk with a buddy and since the car is in my mom's name, she is the one who has say in it. I've just been paying for it.

Yes i get to keep the money, from everything. I still owe on my car actually so i hope to sell all of this and just pay it off. Then just sell it for w/e. The car is in amazing shap and has only 59K miles for a 99.

Damn Cody that sucks. I'd offer my garage but there is too much crap in it and we would have too figure out a way to get it off and on post.

I could probably have a place for you to store it in Buffalo, is that the only reason why you're selling it?

Heh, for insurance purposes it has to be on property and the car is not even registered anymore. The plates were turned int back in sept. I think i will just sell the Pt cruiser and get somthing more pratical like a wrangler or somthing.

I saw your posts about getting engaged...it would be better to keep the PT Cruiser as a family kinda car. Sell the cavalier, pay it off and put the rest in the bank for your future.

^^ Thats kind of what i am thinking. I don't owe anything on the pt cruiser since it was given to me free, since my g/f is moving back up here in Dec from Ga, she won't have a car since her's @!#$ the bed. I thinking about letter her have this one but make payments back to my gramps for the car or w/e. Then i guess i could trade in the cav and get my wrangler, but i need to sell this stuff off!

sucks to hear man, you were really on the move with moddin it.

well worse comes to worse, mod the HELL out of the pt cruiser... its got some potential

Why not just keep the PT Cruiser for you since its paid off...and let her have the Cavalier? Makes the most sense. Im sure your parents would be understanding since it would be driven instead of taking up garage space.

I'd think you'd be able to get more cash for the PT cruiser, due to pupularity.

Sell the PT and keep the Cav

Re: Everything must go, parents suck!

Honestly..... i don't like anyone driving the car but myself, so letting her have the cav would be obsured and i know she'd be always trying to show off in it. The more i think about it anyways, if somthing goes wrong with the cav, we won't have any $$$ to fix it for anyone to drive since she is moving in with me. I am going to purchased the extended warrenty for the PT because that engine comparment is sooo compact even more so than the LD9, i don't want anything to do with it if somthing breaks. But this stuff needs to get sold because i am getting harassed about it all day long.
