Ok, according to their schedule the 11th should be good too. I don't think you ever told me exactly what happened to your trans? I mean i know it's shot and your replacing it, but what happened and how?

Thanks DJ, Hopefully this friday I'll be able to get more than 1 sucessfull run and be able to shave a few more 10ths off. I know mandy said she's up for it too so hopefully we can both produce slightly better times.

Well, I took it apart today to see what happened. Let's just say NEVER buy a car or get a car serviced at ROTHROCK! When my engine went under warranty, they took way too long to get the job done, and then they didn't even do it right. When I finnally got my car back, the trans was fubarred. So I took it back and had to wait a couple more weeks and got my car back in what I thought was great condition. Seems the asshats there don't know you need to fill a manual trans with gear oil. I'm suprised the trans lasted as long as it did with no lube in there (other than what GM ran the gears in with). So I'm gonna give them a nice phone call and a letter to the BBB. I'm gonna fix this one, but I'd like to take it out of their a$$. The secondary shaft was galled to hell and was making the gearsets stick to the point where it would engage two gears at once 1-2 ,3-4, or 5-R at the same time. Amazingly, the diff still looks brand spankin new. I'm gonna rebuild it for a spare, but I'm still installing the NVG. Hopefully I'll finish the modifications and install tommorrow (I'm being real pokey cause it's too damn cold out, lol)
Nov 5th is the UTI drag day at Atco. Im not going to be there because gay ass pepboys wont let me take the day off. that was the straw that broke the lammas back. they have my two weeks.

Just got the car running again. I have an interesting NVG-Izuzu hybrid that I might start a new thread about, but anyways, the 11th is looking good for me as long as nothing else takes a crap.
Well, I found my boost leak... cracked intake mani!! So hopefully I'll have that taken care of by the end of the week...

Well it's in Atco, NJ but you probably could have guessed that hahaha. I'm not sure exactly how far from the lancaster area it would be, but i can say that it's about 30 min from where the PA turnpike comes into NJ. About 45 min from where the NE extension hits the E-W branch of the TP
