Pittsburgh is pretty beat.....lol
The drag strip is Pittsburgh Raceway park out route 22 by delmont. It used to be known as Keystone raceway. People refere to it as keystone or PRP. Performance parts you are better off taking the 1 hour drive up to Summit Racing in Ohio. OR you can order it on line and if you live in pittsburgh as long as you order it before 12 noon it will be at your place next day (unless they had to send your part from the Las Vegas store for some reason.
I used to take a couple trips to Summit because I could get what I needed right then and didin't have to wait longer than I had to.
There is a Road course up at Beaver Run which is located in Beaver County. Its a short drive north west of the city.
There used to be a tone more big cruises and such but not too many anymore. There are still a few good ones but not as many as about 3 / 4 years ago.

I'm up in the Mon Valley. More specifically, Charleroi--about 45 mins from downtown Pittsburgh, 20-25 mins from PIA
i live in allison park...a few miles north of pittsburgh on rte. 8. once a month during the summer, the cops shut down the zelie airport n use the runway as a drag strip. thats about 45 minutes away from where i live
