So I had taken my cavalier into the shop to have the right wheel bearing replaced and see if they could find out why my gas mileage sucked.
I got the car back today after work... My shaved door remote power wire has been pulled out, the reverseglow gauge cluster wires have been pulled, add-on cigerette adparter has been disconnected, and my carpet has been cut.
Is there anything I can do about this. took me from 8:30 to 11:15 to fix all of the wiring @!#$ they messed up!

RULE OF THUMB! NEVER leave the dealer's lot if the car's messed up. ALWAYS check your car if you leave it with them. once it leaves their lot...they're not always responsible for the damage they've incurred.

Unfortanatly I was working so I had my mom, pick up the keys and everything, then when I went to pick the car up tonight, they were closed.
Sport Chevy in SIlver Spring did some messed up crap to my old Cav, they still try to play @!#$! Go to the service manager, demand payments. Get estimates from PROFESSIONAL companies to get money, also for replacement parts. Have everything with you when you go. I never got paid back from all the stuff with my '00, but good luck!
racerchic its an unfortunate fact that most shops could give a damn less about a custom car. in fact many wont even touch them. sucks i know, after you exhaust everything you can think of and they're still being a$$es about it just remember you can always put up posts like these so others wont get screwed too and hopefully the word will spread and there customer base will dry up. but if that takes too long for you and your the vengfull type ( i know i am ) just stop by there shop on a sunday afternoon or whenever there closed and proceed to squirt crazy glue into the locks on all the doors
the shop. first it will make them not be able to open up second they cant "fix" any cars
third the greese monkeies who f'ed up your car aren't getting paid and finaly they have to call a lock smith to re-do all the locks.

Very true. Im not the only one that got screwed by Sport. Will did too! They are careless dumbasses. One time I took my car in there because the brakes didn't work, I mean car didn't stop at all and this bitch takes me out, slams the breaks so the anti-lock breaks kick in and asks me if that was it. I'm like 'what don't you get about THE CAR DID NOT STOP!' I've had things taken from there, a few weeks back I just got my windows tinted, they worn't suppose to roll them down, guess what they did? It's just an on going thing. And if they don't mess something up, they 'can't find my car/keys' and I end up standing there for 45 min - an hour!
um, why do you keep going back? i work at miller brothers in ellicott city some of the guys here actuly have moded cavys so why not just come here?

Sounds good. Only reason I keep going back is it's 5 min from my house, and my Dads all 'we got it from there, thats where we take it' blah blah blah. He gets pissed if I take it for an oil change anywhere else. Funny thing is, they messed up my radiator TWICE while changing the oil! Car overheated, it was way too much! I get pissed cause I used to know people at Win Kelly too!

meatings are held here. thats also why Cal Ripkin comes here every year to pick out
his free cars as per his contract with g.m.

Kim, why would your dad take his mercury to Crystal Ford when there is a Mercury dealership in the same auto park??? I dont care too much for Crystal Ford but I have ALWAYS had good service with Sport Chevy and Sport Honda.
I would rather take my car to Sport Chevy than to Fox Chevy in Laurel...their customer service is HORRIBLE! Need to stop letting ghetto-fied teenagers working there.
Hes always taken his cars to Ford, he used to be all about those Ford cars. Since Ford and Mercury are essentially the same thing, hes taken them to Ford because hes known the guys! Plus once he took our truck to Mercury, I forget what it was but he swore never to go back!
