Glen Burnie A-hole

Okay here is the deal, I drive my wifes cavy so she can have my 4dr lancer.
We just had our second kid..She is 5 months old. So the 4dr is much easier
for the car seat, ETC

She has a 03 2dr cavy with a factory body kit.. High spolier and all. So the other night
I am at the red light at Ritchie and Furnace branch when some kid (maybe18) in a
black cavy with a body kit and custom exhaust pulls up next to me. Now mind I have
my oldest kid, 11 year old son in the passenger side with me. He starts reving the
engine and looking my way. So when the light turns green he takes off. I just drive normal considering my son is in the car and I am not into street racing anymore.

So we get to the next light and he does the same damn thing, Once again he takes off
flying and I drive normal. So when we get to the light by Value city he starts going at it
again. He then rolls down the window and starts saying "Hey pussy, that cavy all show and no go" I just look the other way and roll up the window so my kid does not have
to hear this a-hole. then the light turns green and he freaking cuts me off to were I
have to swerve and almost wrecked...

WTF??? Anybody know this punk?

It was a black cavy, with green accents on the inside and a RK sport license plate frame. This dude was a total A-hole!!

Did he really think I was going to go at it with my kid in the car?

I remember in 95 & 96 when Glen Burnie was not a bad place to chill and cruise..What
the hell is going on down there now days

true, but even worse in the last 2-3 years... thats why most of us dont even go there unless visiting friends who live there.

hollywood doesnt create A-holes, people like that who will damn near endaged kids in a car are a product of their parents and their upbringing.gotta put the blame where it belongs

well i agree partially , you do gotta admit that ever since movies of the street racing lifestyle has been to the mass population of the states that people think they can get away with whatever they feel like. not just movies like fnf and 2f2f but also movies that depict street racing. now adays you can slap a banner on a movie that says " what you are about to see is illegal and possibly very dangerous " and it will sell in the masses at any video store or performance shop. kids nowadays feel like it not you that people judge you by its what your car looks like or performs like. i honestly feel if less parents monitered what there child is viewing and there weekend expeditions we would have a safer country.

well i can agree on the media thing a small bit. i think its more of just the way i was raised, where grandparents used to always say "if so and so jumped off the bridge, are you gonna be an idiot and follow"

so thats more how i am viewing it i guess. each person being responsible for their own actions.

i know tekademics, gumball, jackass, beavis and butthead, etc are being blamed for being responsible for alot of things.

but in the final choice that all boils down to the individual. even if you feel invicible after watching the movie, you still have to come back into reality for a sec on like example: tekademics.

sure you see em pulling stuff like donuts in front of the capitol or whitehouse...

but really in this day and age, if you get caught, post 9/11,,,,,whats the consequences.

keep in mind many of us watch those movies and dont run out and immitate cinema. thats pretty much while i believe it boils down to the individual. once you are the age to drive, you should be of the conscious age to know right and wrong. most just ignore it.

so true Art...

Wow i dont think anyones parents has ever not told there kid the bridge scenerio..lol

I myself, do not street race..im totally against it, just because i know the consequences, and the dangers of it..

Kids just need to wake up and realize wtf there doing, because if they dont, the whole car scene is just going to collapse, and were all going to be driving around in a stock metro...because noone can afford insurance haha
