anyone know where i can go around WNY to get some hood pins installed? I dont trust myself drilling thru my brand new hood.
im thinkin Hybrid Connection, but dont know if they do exterior stuff, or just performance

as for why i need hood pins, i need em cuz i got a cf hood, and it dosent come down all the way for one, so i need em to line up the front edge a bit, and also cuz i just dont trust the fiberglass underside of the hood. id much rather have hood pins than be sorry about my hood flying off and costing me alot of money.

Yeah same here even though i mounted the stock latch on my new CF hood and everything I just dont trust it after hearing about the hoods flying up id rather just get hood pins. Joe lemme know if you find a good place cuz i dont trust myself drilling into my hood! Also consider my old J ur g/f's new whip. now show me the money!

ive heard bad stories of cf hoods and some fiberglass hoods. we both have cf hoods, and i personally know someone who had a cf hood blow up on them and killed their windshield and roof

ya, that was my other thought. i gave em a call, and set up an appointment for the 29th, and they said it will be between $45-70, depending on time. I was kinda hoping it would be a bit cheaper than that.

i really hate to spend anywhere near that price to get it done, but i really dont wanna ruin my brand new hood if i do it myself. at least if they mess it up, i can make them buy me a new one.

yea i did my own, my hood came with no holes what so ever, i had to drill six of them to mount mine on to the car, let me know man!
