I have a 95 Fire (2.2 OHV) and I just read a great article on the NY J-body site, "INFO FOR INSTALLING ROLLER ROCKER ARMS" and its sub-article, "1.6 Rocker Arm Install For 2.2L." And whoever wrote them had a great suggestion.

Here's my question:
I was wondering if anyone would be interested in "going in" on a purchase of "Competition Cams Magnum Steel Roller Tip Rockers (1.6)" from Summit Racing with me. We'd have to buy 2 sets (from the article: "For the four cylinders purchasing two sets (24 rocker arms total) will work out to enough to do 3 engines, (8 rockers an engine) so if three people went together and bought two sets of rockers you will save some money.)"
I'd pay for the shipping to my place (Elizabethtown, PA, 17022) from Summit Racing for both sets of rockers. Then you'd pay me for your share of the rockers + shipping (via USPS Priority Mail) to your place. Simple and easy...
I wouldn't "mark anything up" or anything like that. But if you wanted insurance, etc. on the shipment (and I'd recommend it, anyhow), then you'd pony up for that, etc. The only thing that I'd ask is for some $$ as a Good Faith downpayment so I don't get stuck with 2 extra sets of rockers... My ID on eBay is "designjb" and my rating is 100% if that makes anybody feel better, BTW.

I haven't made up my mind totally yet, but I figured that I'd ask you guys and get some feedback since it sounded like a great idea -- in theory anyhow.
I don't know anybody in my area, really, so that's why I'm asking here.
