Title kind of says it all, I live near Trenton and I am thinking of replacing my top soon but I am not confident to do this myself....nor do i have the time.
How much will top cost?
Where can I get one of OEM quality? (Black)
Who could install such a top perfectly?
How much would this cost?
Thanks!
You find a place let me know cause the vert could use it when the resto is finished.

Alexis: Dustin, you're ghey, lol. I am better. I have tits, and tits rule all.
I just had mine done on the sunfire for 800 plus tax at a local place.
Dang in WV....kinda to far way ha but at least that gives me a ballpark price. Did it comeout really good, look as good as the stock top etc?
looks just as good if not better than what it replaced btw it was 4 for the top and 4 for labor
I am bringing tihs back from the dead, its offical i can't go much longer the back window was holding with some silicone etc.
Anyone have this done around NJ? Please I could really use some help on a reputable cheap place for this job. I would like to hear price's around $800...
I found this company rumor is they do an ok job, "Rayco"

Thanks I will call them Tuesday to get a quote. I seemed to be getting numbers from $1,000-$1,300 which i feel is high so hopefully they will charge less to do this job.
1,000 seems pretty close for doing a full top replacement .
heres the adress and number

Yeah, 1000-1300 in the D.C. area for top and labor. Average installation, even though they were referred by the local (Fox) Chevrolet dealer at the time. Prices are about the same until you get out to...you guessed it....West Virginia.
i will do that mess myself when it is time, get the top for a 400 and go
if i fail i will find a cav and cut the top off and make it a targa top
A little late in the reply, but Blue Sky CAR in West Caldwell has over 25 years exp in convertible top replacement.
Yea the top is getting worse by the minute, still don't have $1,000+ to fix it and the lowest quoted place I found, yea went there they other day, they went out of business!
I wish I had the balls to rip it off and try to put it on myself but all I would do is destroy the car, it would be pointless.
That being said thank you for suggesting a reputable shop to call to inquire!
