My garage situation is changing and I need to get rid of my car.. Ive had it for 10 years now, but Ive lost interest and got tired of it.
My car is truely unique and anyone who has personally seen it will tell you its badass... Im going to get some recent pictures of it, hopefully today. There is a ton of work done to it and I know I am forgetting some things...
1997 Cavalier LS Sedan, Cayenne Red. 90k on body, maybe 5-6k on the rebuilt motor??
2.4L from factory. 5 speed swap from a 98-99. spec stage 2+ Clutch-almost brand new. Spec lightened Flywheel. Team Green LSD-not installed.
.20 over wiseco pistons, Eagle rods, ARP head & main studs, Cometic HG, Clevite Bearings, Hi Pressure Oil pump. MSD ignition, HPTuners Pro, Inline Walbro Fuel Pump
T3 super 60 turbo, 2" piping w/ JRC intercooler. greddy BOV (type r??), Internal WasteGate. FMU installed. 36lb ford browntop injectors, 2.5" Full Exhaust w/ test pipe & Magnaflow muffler-Oval tip.
TTR top & bottom engine mounts & Tranny bushings.
Import Fighter body kit, CF hood w/ sides painted to match car w/ hood pins, also includes Ramair SS hood-body color. Toyota cavalier power folding mirrors-wired up & work great. 20% tint all around.
18" Konig Theory. Goldline Springs on Koni Yellows.Front & rear eibach swaybars, GM strut bar, Aplus Subframe brace
Interior is totally wrapped in red & black tweed(doors, dash, ceiling, all panels, red painted accents) Black & Red racing seats (brand?) Red carpet, Blackcat gauges, Center dash piece has SAFC & Innovate wideband molded where 2 center vents were. SAFC is not currently hooked up. Autometer Elec. Oil Pressure & Boost gauge in pillar pod. Back seat has real nice seatcover on it. Carbon fiber accent pieces under hood, Powdercoated HO IDI cover, Battery relocated to trunk, Power Windows, Locks. Viper 791 Remote start/alarm combo w/ proximity sensor, Fiberglassed 12" Infinity sub in trunk, 800.5 PPI amp behind seat. The car is clean clean clean, its a showcar that hauls ass & looks good.
Tires are ok, prob need some new ones soon though.
Lady across the street backed into the front pass. door, Has some small waves & scuffs right in center of door- not too noticeable.
Factory tach & gauge lighting stopped working. Might be a low coolant light & oil light, but fluids are fine..
You will need to tune the car better. The AFRs are all over the place under boost. I installed the FMU to help w/ tuning, We were having trouble scaling the fuel low for idle, but high for boost, but I never tried to tune again after install. I had trouble tuning the car because I really dont know what Im doing, so its sat since last July. I was running about 12-14 lbs of boost when I was tuning it- the car flies. Dropped insurance, inspection expired and I got new interests..
I know I am forgetting a few things about the car, but its super clean and sounds like a @!#$ fighterjet taking off when your driving it. I am located about 10 miles SOUTH of philadelphia.
Now that Im listing all the stuff that I have done to the car- its make me sad to sell it. I know the car can be totally insane if I could just get a decent tune on it, but I dont have the time to dedicate to it.
I dont even know what the car would be worth, but I am very reasonable. I was thinking about $5-6k.
I would keep the car if anyone is interested in tuning it for me?
