FYI: You do not have a Sunfire GT front. It is the 00-02 SE bumper.

If you can get $2700 for your car, take the money & run. You say your bank gave you that number...for what they say it's worth or something? I'm curious where/why the bank told you what it's worth, I didn't think banks were in that kind of business. I was going to use my Sunfire as a trade when looking for a newer car & found mine isn't worth much. My Sunfire is a GT, same year as yours, 101,000 miles & it still has AC, plus power locks/windows. In my wildness dreams nobody is giving me $2700 for it. I'd feel lucky to get $1000 & I believe it KBB'd well below that as well.

This is crazy.

I paid 2k for mine in mint condition.. And under 100k miles upon purchase.

Not to be an ass, But I'll be damned if anyone pays $2,500 for a rusted, dented, rattle-canned, 2.2 cavalier.

as i said if its not relevent to me selling the car then i really dont care what you say. my friend is a financial specialist at wachovia and he ran it through his system with everything i have done to the car and thats the number he gave me.

And what system is this? The bull@!#$ modded car value system?

If a bank values a car (for the purpose of someone trying to secure a loan, not someone selling), the are only concerned with KBB value, and the current condition of the vehicle...you car wouldn't be valued at even close to $2000 even it was bone stock...

Your best case scenerio of selling this car, is if somebody offers you between $800-900, take the money and run.

And I'm not even trying to be an ass about it, I'm just being realistic.

he actually did run it through the system as someone trying to get a loan and thats the figure he came up with. he has seen my car in person and looked it over. so im not really concerned with what yall think unless you actually want to buy the car if not you can just skip this thread.
