it all needs repainted. It all feels like sand paper because te temps weren't right and it wasn't laid down thick enough

If you decide to gloss black, I recommend using dupont centari...it lays down great in "garage paint both" conditions...great to work with and at about half the cost of the kustom shop stuff...I use it A LOT and can attest to its nice glossy black shine!
