If you get pulled over just tell the officer you're going to get a new one and he can follow you if he wants lol. I mean, how are people w/o trucks supposed to get a new hood?

I'd be interested in the thought behind a law prohibiting driving w/o a hood. It's not a safety concern, no emissions or anything like that. It's function is to protect the engine right?

The only thing I'd personally be worried about is if it rained, particularly the air filter if it is in the bay. I wouldn't be worried about cops/laws, being that you are on your way to get one.

If you've ever lived in tennessee or here in colorado, hoodless cars are just as popular as carbon fiber hoods

Do like me and PJ did when we were driving hoodless, reclock your intake so it points straight up and drive around screaming out the windows "I HAVE NO HOOD!!!! HAVE YOU SEEN MY HOOD? I HAVE NO HOOOOOOOOD!!!"

Sad thing is we really did that

Paying someone to install parts and bragging about it being fast, is like watching someone bang your wife and being proud to raise their kids.

the hood part is true, the yelling part is true, the intake part isn't tho. I just swapped to the eco, the guy I bought a carbon fiber hood off of wanted it back. we took my OEM hood off, and put the carbon fiber one on, drove there, took it off and gave it to him, then I drove back with no hood.

but I had an eco.. only the OHV can do that with the intake.

sorry jeff

Yep. I'll be headed that way probably Saturday. I've wanted it since he had got it. LOL. I also want something more subtle.

You guys sound pretty crazy to hang out with. Don't know if I'll be all that crazy with it. Would be weird if I got pulled over I could use that as my why I'm speeding excuse. LOL.
