I posted this in the preformance section and didn't really get a straight out answer.
I searched saw some stuff but i need a definietive answer! OK i did the coil pack mod for the 2200 to eco. All the wires wire right up EXCEPT... the 2200 ICM doesn't have a brown wire? so where does that match up? i saw the write up about all the wire colors matching them up. But no brown and white. the Cam sig wire? Any help?

I wouldnt use 2200 coils, upgrade to the msd ones

I also question the effectiveness of the 2200 older style vs the eco cassette type, gm went away from those for a reason the stock eco ignition is much better than the factory 2200 ignition, DIS came around in 86. The older DIS coil packs simply make running a msd easier if your not running a MSD i dont see the advantage

So besides that running the tower msd coils are pointless?
