Anyone in the Boston Area do radio installs? have you installed a aftermarket deck in your late model Cavalier or Sunfire? I've been toying with the idea of buying a new radio with Bluetooth and IPOD control along with XM. I guess I can't retain my factory XM parts so I'd also have to buy either a Sirius or XM reciever to go along with the new radio. Oh and another module in case I want to keep the chimes, power on/off, etc. I know I could probably hot wire it to the wipers fuse but that always seems messy to me.
call up tech support on crutchfield...they can let you know everything you need to know. Radios are a breeze to put in, the give you directions and will even walk you through it....if you lived a tad closer i would have no problem helping woth the install as long as you used the right stuff such as the radio wire adapter and connectors. Look into it a bit an make sure the radio you want is exactly what you need...that's another good reason to call them

You can't keep the factory XM stuff ,you'll need either a chime module or an add-a-circuit to "hot wire" the radio.
Your car may do 13 sec @ 103 mph, but my car does 146db @ 35 hz.
Thanks Matt. Yea, if I do it I'll go with them.
