I want to have a compression test done before i go ahead and boost my cavi. Anyone know of any good shops near philly area that do good work?

I've been there. I cant vouch for their work, but they do have a sweet Civic hatch with a twinscroll turbo.

usually you pull off all the spark plug wires, or coil packs if you have them
remove the fuel pump fuse
remove one of the spark plugs, screw in the compression tester then have a friend turn the ignition for a few seconds, should show on the guage, works best with two people, then do the same thing for the rest
There should not be more than a 25% variance between your results in each cylinder, way way back I did my cav eco it was 210-209-183-208, thats pretty good but indicates that #3 is wearing more than the others
