Is MtBE oxygenated gasoline illegal or banned? I filled up at an Exxon in wyomissing and the pump still said "contains MtBE". It may be in my head but it looks like i'm getting better mileage on this tank than usual.
Has anyone else seen non-ethanol pumps still available?

generally this is not a good idea, but you can definitely smell the difference between MtBE and ethanol oxygenated gasoline. Ethanol, obviously, smells like a yummy shot of vodka, while the MtBE smells more like a sharp solvent smell. I'm going back to that Exxon to sniff some gas lol.

Yes, there's a place called Millersville Mart in - get this - Millersville. There's also Charlies on 322 in Ephrata. The truck stop in Ephrata also has non-ethanol. I believe all Citgos are still ethanol free. I was getting it for a few fill-ups, but my gas mileage didn't change (I keep a notebook, not just guessing) & I was spending more for it.
Yea i run BP in my cav. Im pretty sure it is non-ethanol. It smells different and it actually burnt the skin unlike the athere junk gas. My cav does not like any gas that has ethanol. It always miss fires on top end. so that is why i switched to BP gas. What a big difference.
i havent done bp in a long time theres one right down the way yet it was a crappy run amco gas before same @!#$ty pumps so i stay with sunoco or citco once awhile getty but otherewise its a sh&t hole called us gas lol or Puke oil lol we put puke oil in our one car one time ran like totall Crap for the whole week till i drained the tank and put another gas in there. i know its there gas cause we tried two more times outta good faith and same thing miss fire stalls, quick run thu was like diarea for the car lol never been to puke oil since.
