OK, I know a lot of you are rolling with R-titles, or have in the past. I have a couple of questions for you, or anyone else knowledgable on the subject.
1) Any problems insuring the car?
2) What % of value was lost with the R-title? Say your car books for 10k in good condition, would an R title be worth 7k, 5k??
I am looking at several vehicles, really like this one in particular, and then they drop the R bomb on me. I am trying to figure out what to offer, or if I should just walk away.
Thanx in advance.
it does lose alot of value, i would say around 2k off a 10k car, but insurance shouldnt be a problem any insurance company will insure you for the same rate as a car w/o a R title.
