some friends were looking to go to a nice octoberfest celebration this year. any around you guys? especially wondering about the pittsburgh area.

right outside Buffalo, NY bitch. Town called Ellicottville. Amazing all weekend party, beer tents, town full of bars, thousands of people, etc etc etc.

There's tons of chalet's and houses to rent for the weekend.

great time, and I'll most likely be there until sunday. then it's off to the Bills game.

More details, Joey? Dates, address, etc? I'm intrigued

and here's the link to the specific event. It doesn't seem to have much info about it, but it's always a blast. They have tons of shuttle busses that run all night to take you to your destination so no DWI's, the bars are always jam packed, most have live bands. They shut the streets down for the party.

also, here's the link to Holliday Valley....the ski resort across the street that has open chair lift rides to the top where they have a beer blast, ski/snowboard swap meets, and tons of chalet's to rent out.

theres always some octoberfest activities here.....and if you havent been to the hoffbrau-hause, it might be the time to go.....although i dont see you being able to just walk in.

The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire always has stuff going on, you'll find that north of Manheim, PA. It's a very German area, so I'd think they'd do it right!

I live in greentree they usually have a car cruise and a couple day event for octoberfest..but im down for something
