Ive looked in the classifieds and didnt see any but figured Id ask if anyone in the area had a hood for a 98 cavalier for sale,im trying to find one in manta green (i found a hood for $78 from certafit in nj,new unpainted,figured if its painted it would be a little easier/cheaper then having to get it painted) a deer met my car at 50 mph on saterday night on 903 in jim thorpe comeing from work.
the windshield is getting fixed tomarrow, the headlight and fender probably wed..

from my buddy who was in the car behind me he said the thing cartwheeled off of my car, cleared the left lane (deer jumped from tree line on my right towards my left) cleared the left shoulder,landed in the grass and slid down a ditch into another tree line..
we didnt see the deer carcas untill this morning after I left my jobs parking lot..but yeah its good and dead..
normally the term is deer in headlights, this case is more like head light in deer..

I think Im more upset at the fact we didnt have flashlights saterday night to go looking for it.. woulda had some decent deer meet for the camping were doing this weekend coming up.lol

I live in horsham pa, the dirrections from horsham to altoona say 4 hours/ 237.88 miles.
it would be great to find an already manta green hood but i think the distance is a bit much. but who knows for consideration how much are you looking to get?
yea that would be a long drive, im looking for about $70ish out of it, it was recently repainted(within the last 2 years) and there are like no stone chips at all.

Today I had gone to a local u pull it to get a headlight and I came across a 96 z24 in my color..(ive never seen my color on a cavalier in a yard its always been on sunfires) so I was pretty happy to see there was nothing wrong with it but some dirt..
I picked it up for $30 and put it on in the lot..
thanks for the heads up though, if I didnt find this one today by chance next week I probably woulda just drove out to you,even with gas and such it woulda saved money on getting a new one painted.
