I live about 15-20 minutes outside of philly, we used to have several car places that did window tinting around the area but they have all pretty much moved on and closed up. My question is if there are any places some of you might know of / suggest or even if there is a local member who is good at it who would (obviously id buy materials and such unless said member worked at a place that did it)
Ive tried to do it myself on two different occasions and needless to say the fail kicked in almost as soon as I started to I said f it..
Autoworks in Gilbertsville, PA - (610) 473-9100 - does an great job, I think he's around $200-250 for the whole car.
On the Go Audio - Boyertown, PA - (484) 390-2292 - did my rear window for $80, looks awesome.
in PA its not a good idea, any amount is illegal and cops are quick to point that out, many will make you take it off right there when they pull you over, its just a way to bring harrassment to yourself

I have a guy that tinted our Subaru here in Lancaster. Does very good work. If your interested in driving this far let me know and I'll PM you his info. He did our outback for about $100 bucks.

thats any where though. ive had 15% on for about 9 months now and never had 1 problem.

MTA is my husband, the Outback looks great!
It's one guy, but he works out of a garage he rents. You wouldn't have to buy anything & he's pretty quick too.
That seems like its gonna be an option, not sure just yet as to when but looking to get it done soon enough my poor kid is always yelling about the sun when shes in the car.. thanks for the info. Im thinking maybe within the next two to three weeks tops..

I tint however I'm way off in SC. Go to FormulaOne.com and look for a local dealer. I am one and I can say its a GREAT film and the company checks up on there installers to make sure the install is up to par.
