OK,I'm bored so i thought i'd post a question or two up
-How many members are there in NY on this site?
-Is there any j-body clubs in the CNY(Central New York) area??

NY-Jbodies has since dissolved.
i'm out near rochester, and theres a few others floating around rochester and buffalo
cool,i'm out of the fulton/oswego area(this area kinda sux).
There were 7-8 Cavi owners on CC(ClubCav.com) who lived in ny but i switched to JBO cuz CC crashed and reverted to some version from 08 so i lost all my damn post.i'm just trying to find some cavi owners in the CNY area that maybe have a jbody club or that meet up at local shows because i really wanna hang out with some other j body enthusiast in my area.
In relativity, I am the closest to you. Agentomega (chris) is the next closest, followed by Frosty Sunfire (brian). Brian isn't really that active anymore tho...
There are several other guys who aren't on the forums driving around, but they have one of those macho " i am cooler than you" with my type-r stickers all over my cav attitudes..

yeah,the whole "Type-R" thing on a cavi never made much sense to me,but i've ran into a few of those " i am cooler than you" with my type-r stickers all over my cav" guys.i just laugh at em,i'd rather just hang out with a bunch of j-body enthusiast who love thier cars and want to just hang out and share ideas.
I'm still around and so is mike and dan. my cars on the back burner due to an new kid and buying house. but i will live 2 minutes from the drag way.
mind you the speed limits 55 so it's far enough i can sleep.

It seems like there is an ok number of j owners in ny on here,i counted
8,i was thinking maybe we could form some sort of j-body club,of course seeing as we all are from different parts of the state we could just meet up at the bigger shows or something and just talk on here between shows.I know a few j owners on my own who might be interested in this,and ik its kind of a corny idea but i have not found a single j-body club in ny(found plenty of mustang,corvett,etc.....) but no j-body clubs so i thought what the hell,i'd give it a try.Don't be to much of a smartass in responses....LOL
You'd have better luck doing a NY-GM club honestly since this is a dead platform and there is a slew of cobalt owners out there in the scene..

true,but ik mostly j owners and only one cobalt owner who is leasing it so its bone stock,but you do have a good point

no kidding,i know of like 2 or three already on this site and i've only been active a month or two.and i know of 1 or 2 on CC ,this is why i say we should form either a J-body club or a GM sport compact club(encompasses cobalts and G5's) for NY,it would be cool to hang out at shows or something w/ a bunch of J-body owners and cobalt/G5 owners.

Might even give me an excuse to borrow some of you at some point if I need help with dropping the eco into my sedan. Not sure if I am bringing the motor back to my house and installing it or just doing it at the shop. I have more free time at home to play cosmetologist at home rather than at the shop.

well thats 2 people,any others interested cuz a car club w/ 3 members is a start but it needs more people to make it work,oh and name suggestions are good
Id be game! a gm fwd club would be cool then it would be alot more types of cars and such!

A meet would definitely be cool and maybe,eventually that could turn into some sort of GM j-body/Cobalt club,but lets see if we can tolerate each other first before we form a club,sorry to back track on the idea but Resurrected J has a point
I've met Brian, Kris, Nathanial, joey, Jeff, and a few others lurking around who haven't chimed in yet... I can tolerate all of them. Hell they are all older than I, and I am rolling 23 this year. NY-J's was back in the day when I was still 17-18yrs old.
