Possible Part out.... RIP Sunny

nice way to bring in the new year eh? Today coming down a one way minding my business an old @!#$ blew thru a stop sign @ about 45 in a 25 and nailed the sunfire. I did all I could, downshift, brake and e brake and got the car to stop on the dime but she made no attempt to stop @ all leaving my whole front clip laying on the ground. The way the car looks, it looks to be totaled. Wind shield smashed, right fender @!#$, both air bags deployed, leaking coolant everywhere, heat exchanger looks like a pancake and all in all a horrid sight. To add wood to the fire i fractured my left knee. Yea it sucks I know but being upset isn't going to correct anything. I mean everything happens f or a reason right? Well out of this deal if the car is totaled and her insurance doesn't want to pay for it.....GTO or SS/TC here I come. I'll keep you guys all informed.

First thing I did was pray. I might not have seen 2009.

Glad to hear you are somewhat ok. Sorry about the car. If you decide to part it out, PM me for the computer. I need a manual one, and i know you had some good tuning on it for the s/c. Its pretty much what i've been looking for.

Some old people shouldn't be allowed to drive.

so a little update, Got her home and went to work on her a little bit. It is worse than I thought. The complete front end is leaning and just smashed to hell. Good New is, My dad is offering to buy it back from insurance after they total it out. Meaning I will be able to possible part her out and help some ppl with their projects. As for me, I had a head full of cars and Ideas. The most logically idea is to replace her with an 04 LSS Cav I am looking at currently. Hopefully I can bring it home, low miles and an 05 good things all around. Now the question is which path to take her. Run the Hahn Stg II kit or Keep my blower set up and go with the 3.1 pulley, Option B, and Cx Heat Exchanger since my cobra Heat Exchanger resembles a sunfire spoiler from the accident.

Time will tell I will keep everyone updated and photos to come.
