Might be selling my 2003 Cavalier..
As you might know, this was T2's old sedan, that I bought last spring. I need something more reliable and something I can use in the winter. I can't keep up with this car being a college student and my bank account being constantly broke, and just not having time. With some work this car would be amazing, it just needs a fair share of TLC.
Just shy of 67,000 miles, mainly highway from going to college
Pros:
It is the Saab Turbo setup, I ran 8psi since I brought it out of winter storage.
DSM BOV/Mopar Block-off plate
Redid entire exhaust, Cutout, 28" Glasspack, Dynomax Super Turbo, all tucked up nicely
Touchscreen Radio/Headunit
2 sets of wheels
Lowered on Sportlines
Rear Sway Bar
Pioneer Speaker/Sub/Amp
etc...just ask
Cons:
2nd Gear Sycnro JUST went out last week, drives fine other than that
Body needs some love, haven't fixed a few dents/door dings, nothing major
Hood has typical stone chips
I still haven't hooked up oil pressure gauge, no time.
Struts will need replacement, i drove on them last year just fine, just depends where you drive.
I'd like to see $4,500 out of it, OBO...
If you have any questions ask please.
Sucks to sell, but I can't keep up with it.
This is just a feeler as of now.
yes, with b&m short throw/poly mounts
Get back into the audioz son.
I am going to as soon as I can sell this car. Just not sure what I am going to buy at all.
Anyone interested???
I really hate to fix the car then let it go
I might have some stuffs for sale. Just depends on if I can find a bigger amp.
Dude, just fix it & keep it.
Told you before, would be a waste to fix it & then sell...
Supercharged 2002 Cavalier Z24
J-Body Bash Veteran
if you start parting out i want everything, lol
I don't plan to fix it if I can sell it.
Would anyone take the car for $4,000
Never Mind, just keeping the car.
Buying a cobalt, and building this car over the next few years.
That makes no sense to me.
So youd rather pay on a car instead of fixing yours?
My parents are selling me their cobalt, so I can drive that for summer and winter.
Then have the cavalier in the garage for a project. Bring it out in a few years after doing what I have wanted.
Nope, sold that a long time ago. Wish I still did....
But I plan to buy another motor for this car and build the crap out of it.
Back again!
If I were to return this back to stock, running order (replace trans also). It would still go with the drop, headunit, and pillar pod/gauges.
How much would I be looking to get out of this in the end?
If I return it to stock, I'm going to have to find a way to plug the oil return hole for the turbo, (tap and bolt it)?
Id take it if I had the money..but alas I don't :/
13.1 @ 115
I am extremely intrested in A 5-Speed sedan myself but just like everyone else i am broke until tax return. As soon as I, & everyone else in america, get my return nobody will be selling stuff anymore...lol. If this is still here when i have money I'll get with you.
It beats a Honda!
Well as of right now I'm waiting to find another Saab Turbo setup, going to put that back together and running again.
I will sell it this coming summer hopefully, it will be back to the way it was before the trans decided to go. Keep watch this summer, should be up and ready by then I'm hoping.
Ill see how I feel about it this summer. Maybe I could scrape up the cash. We'll see how she turns out.
Buy it Joe! Then buy my wheels
Bump AGAIN.
Car is fixed with a ton more parts added on. I just KBB it in Good condition and it's getting around 5,700 bucks.
I MIGHT sell the car end of the summer, depends whats going on in my life.
What could I get for it now that it's fixed, I will finish the exhaust by the time it sells obviously, it's open DP right now. View my build thread if you want to see the parts I put into it.
