I know that J-BOM is in the state, But that is far east of me. I am trying to see if people want to get together by the Grand Rapids area...
I know there are quite a few people on here from by me, I don't care what you drive, I just want to see if there are people willing to meet up over here. If I can get enough interest, then we will go ahead and set a date, location blah blah blah. More than likely it will happen once the weather breaks, but the cold hasn't stopped me from being outside in the past.

There's usually two bigger meets in Mi, J-BOM BBQ in spring and kevin dose the KRI BBQ in fall.

Id be down for a meet, Grand Rapids is about 2 and half hours west of me though, but might still be willing to go depending on when it happens
Im down i just went to my first j-bom meeting in february, at joes in brighton and it was a ton of fun, and very informative, tho i got my good cavalier out for no reason it was still fun

When sounds good for the long distance people? I would like to keep it between bash and other meet dates as to not have so much going on at once...I'm thinking for sure sometime in the summer...
Ideas?
Summer sounds good, find a local business that has a big parking lot and see if they would be okay with having it there, the j bom guys usually do it in a mcdonalds parking lot or something along those lines, so the show people spend their money there, also make sure you let everyone going there no stupid @!#$ such as drifting or burnouts, that will give J-Bom a bad image, you get the idea
Sounds good to me too just have to have a set date..and hope I have that day off but then again not like I have to drive far...

we do it at mcd's if its raining, golden bear is the primary, weve been there for years and never had a problem. the thing with meets is it only takes one asshat to ruin it for everyone. i would be down for making the trek across the state.
I rent a PARK, with a very LARGE paved parking lot & roofed shelter with grills.
Usually toward the end of summer.
I started the KRI Motorsports BBQ in 2006 because we didn't have a jbody bash that year.
(It got cancelled) I have held one every year since, except for last year, economy was so poor here
and I could not afford to rent the park. No problems with that this year though.
I need to look through show dates, & schedule it when nothing else is going on...in order to get
the best attendance.

I'm starting to think of maybe an install meet or something along those lines. My dad's place has a 4 stall with a parking lot for a driveway, and a parking lot right next door for more room. My garage is too small for that type of thing, And my complex probably wouldn't dig 6+ tore up cars in the lot
Ideas?

Already covered lol. I'm still figuring out when myself. More than likely, I will post up a range of dates and have people pick what works best once we figure it out a little more.
