Hey guys.
Well, to make room (both financially and physically) for my new cavy, ive decided to sell my 2001 Z24. I know ill forget something, but heres the overview:
Its a 2001 Ultra silver Metallic fully loaded Z24 coup, lightly modded with an auto transmission on 107k miles.
Mods include:
AEM shortram
RKsport lower dogbone
Megan Racing Cat-back exhaust
Headlights & taillights (see pics)
Lightly painted interior (kept VERY clean, literally spotless)
Pre-wired for Amp and Sub with stock headunit
Aftermarket speakers all around (sony x-plods, see pics for rear deck 6x9's.)
Mesh grill on front bumper
Lightly tinted rear windows (see pictures)
The Pros:
Very reliable cavalier. Hasnt given me any trouble.
Maintenance was religeous (3k mile oil changes and 6k mile fluid changes)
Just replaced rotors, and pads.
Fun car to drive. Its efficiant when you want it to be, and has a nice lightly modded feel to it when you push the pedal down =P
VERY clean both inside and out. Ive worked for Waterway (carwash for those who dont have one) since ive owned it. Its been washed every week and waxed monthly. Interior was flawless when i bought it, and kept that way.
Good sound system. Balanced well.
Fully Loaded with sunroof, cruise, fogs ETC
The Cons:
Body damage to the rear passenger quarter panel and door and rear bumper. These were not from the same occasion! The paint on the rear bumper is simply spreading since it was hit with a damn baseball early last year. It started as a little crack but has spread ever since. The bumper isnt bent, dinged, or damaged at all, just needs paint. The quarter panel was the victim of a low speed collision when an old lady lost control this passed winter and pushed it in with her damn 1944 corrola =P. To make a very, very, very long story short, no insurance caims were filed. And it waits to be fixed. See pics for details.
Im looking to get 3500 OBO.
You can text /call 216-780-5397
email at kbrickman@gmail.com
or PM me here, although i would reccomend either of the first two with questions/offers.
I want her going to a good home!
And the damage
Thanks for your time!
with that damage, its not worth no where near that 3500
I knew the first post would comment on the price =P
Anyone interested can just shoot me offers. Ive already been offered prices close to that 3500 (kept confidential of course) so we'll just have to see how it goes.
Despite the body damage, its a perfectly well kept car, inside and out. Ive been told that the damage can be pushed out re-shaped by a few people. Otherwise a body shop would just have to replace the quarter panel, or just the bottom half.
Im just looking to get out of the car atleast half of what i paid/put into it.
Come take a look, you might change your mind on the worth of the car!
the door and the quarter panel would have to be fixed together. replacing the quarter panel itself will cause more problems with that door than it's worth. you can try to push them out, but good luck. it will still look like something went terribly wrong. parts, paint, and labor will run close to $2000 to get the door and panel properly taken care of (replaced). asking $2000 for it is more likely to get somebody interested or get the body work taken care of yourself and you might get $4000-$4500 out of it. if you've already been offered prices close to $3500, you should jump on them without delay because it wont get much better than that. especially if you're trying to sell it to somebody who knows what they could potentially be getting themselves into (everybody on here).
