I have decided that there will be no more rebuilds on the car. I have more important things to worry about and this car has been a giant waste of time and money. The 98 and K1500 both need some repairs and I need to save for a house so something needs to go.

2.3 GM Head gasket kit (I have 2) $125ea.
02 Rear bumper/cover assembly with lips (needs repaint) $250
02 rear lip kit (set up for dual exhaust) $100
Speedcraft manifold (external wg.) for 2.4L, T3/T04E turbo (low mileage), and DP (needs flex pipe for the WG tube). $800
2 sets of 16 Titanium valve spring retainers (duplicate of a 2.3 retainer but with the keeper area of a 2.4 retainer) $250

I would have to look again but I think it still needs a valve job and quick resurface. I have not looked at it in a long time. I can try to get some pictures tomorrow.

I had forgotten about the rods till later. Sorry fellas. For all I know I may even have another set burried somewhere. I never reused any as far as I recall.
I will be getting the .430s and cam housings all packaged up and shipped within the next couple days. As soon as they go out I will send you the tracking number.
