Well as some of you might know, I recently sold the Cav and picked up a Toyota Celica. These are the wheels that came on the car. If it wasn't for the fact that I recently purchased the Nexo PX5's I would probably be keeping them, but because I have the Nexo's I have no real need to keep these wheels.
From what I've come across online the weight of these wheels is 13.5lbs each, that is extremely light. Making these wheels perfect for an Auto-X car or any racing for that matter.
The color of the wheels is what Centerline calls Black Pearl, but it looks more like Gunmetal to me. Another unique thing about these wheels is that the previous owner of them had the lips polished, so they are completely unique to this wheel style to have a lip.
Now here is the bad. Because the lips were hand polished, the clear that had been laid over them has started to peel/chip just from normal wear and tear over the years. So the wheels will need to be re-cleared in order to look 100% again. They still look decent now, but not as good as they could. They don't have any curb rash and it should be pretty easy to get them back to 100%.
They will need new tires, period.
Summit still sells these wheels for $299 each, so $1200 a set. I'm asking $800 OBO for them.
So if you are looking for a light wheel that doesn't look the same as all the traklites running around here is your chance.
I'd prefer local pickup, but I can ship at buyer expense. And don't be afraid to make me an offer!
Now for the pics:
I know someone needs some lightweight wheels...
