Well this is kind of one of those if it happens, it happens. If it doesn't, then whatever, sales...
My buddy recently decided to sell his car that I have liked for quite some time. He would be giving me a pretty good deal on it so I kind of can't pass it up. But in order to buy it I'll have to sell the Cavalier...
Let me start off by first saying I will not part the car out. Due to the fact that if I can't sell it, I'm just going to keep it and enjoy it like I planned on doing anyways. So please don't ask.
Here are the details of the car, both good and bad...
1997 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24 5-Speed
103,XXX miles
Clean CARFAX that I have on file...
I'll start off with the bad...
BAD:
Paint issues:
There a couple paint issues that will be getting fixed if I keep the car. As of right now they aren't fixed, and since I'm trying to sell the car before my paint guy can fix it, so if someone were to buy it right now these flaws would still be on the car...
- There is a crack in the paint on the drivers door where the door handle was. Apparently something went wrong there with the prep work and the paint split right in that area. It's about 3 1/2" long...
- There is a chip in the front bumper that spider-ed out a bit and needs to be taken car of, among a decent amount of smaller chips from daily driving in the summer.
- Sideskirts have paint wear on the top from the doors rubbing on them. My fault due to the fact that they weren't secured down as well as they should have been.
- The hood has a couple small runs in the clear.
Other misc issues:
- TPS sensor doesn't always want to cooperate. I've replaced it a couple different times and it will work perfectly fine for about a month or so, then start acting up. Car should idle around 800 RPM and when the TPS is acting up it can idle as high as 1600-1700 RPM but it's hit or miss. I'm really not sure what is needed to fix this problem but it hasn't been a big enough issue for me to really try and sit down and figure it out.
- Very minor damage from fender rolling ( pics couldn't even capture, you can just tell around the lip where it's rolled ever so slightly )
- Very small crease on driver's fender...paint reflection wouldn't allow camera to even pick it up
- No airbags, A/C, or cruise control
- Passenger power mirror not working for some reason
- CEL from EGR removal, have scanner and can prove that's all it is...does not affect car one bit
- Will come rolling on steelies

Asking $4500 OBO. If you have a problem with that price, make me an offer. I don't want any beef about it, hah. If I still have it in a month and the paint gets fixed that price will go up, but then the car will be flawless paint wise. I'd like to see it go before then though...
I don't have any very current pics of the car, so these will have to do.
Keep in mind the car has a different hood on it now, it's lower now than it is in these pics ( I had the KYB AGX's and Eibach Pro-KIt on in the pics ), and it will come with steelies.
This is the hood it will come with...
