Yep you heard it here first. The auto trans in the beater desided that it didn't want to drive in 4th gear anymore. So as far as I know I still have R123, but I'm not 100% on the 3rd at this time. I got to work just in time to be on time, and on my long backroad drive home I will found out how many gears I have. Lucky for me I just went out and bought the big 28-32 sockets and a long 1/2 rachet(sp), and lets not forget that I got some seat high lift SUV jack stands for Christmas I asked for. The only thing putting a kink in me is that I kinda wanted to put the rack and subframe from the 97 onto the 95, but the snow and cold temps I think are just not going to let me do it fast. I can just see the Apartments finding out there is not engine or trans in the car under the cover... So the trans I keep from the 97Z should be going in Thursday or Friday. Depending on how I feel I might start ripping apart the car Wendsday night after work.

Well I kinda can expect it from this car cause I beat on it a lot more then I should with 130,000 miles on and never having to do anything. I might replace the AC compressor while I'm under there cause it has that damn bearing sound coming from it from time to time. Oil change is also going to be done at the same time. So at least I have the extra parts layin' around. Plus it also will help get the extra trans out of there. I almost tossed it a few weeks ago, but very glad I didn't.
