WTB: Inexpensive 16" wheels.
Thursday, November 13, 2008 7:15 PM
I am looking for a set of inexpensive set of 16" wheels that fit over my Wilwoods. Basically I dont wanna store the car on my Falkens or BFG DRs.. Anyone have something laying around? Im talking $100 or under..

I do not need tires and will not pay more if already mounted. I can dismount and return tires though.

Obviously local would be best since I will most likely need to test fit the rims..

People stock wheels will not fit over the big brakes! I just got a set of Sealies for the girls GLI, but they where 225 with tires. I don't see how you are going to find anything in that price range period. I say about 200 if you can find someone with some bad rubber on some VW stealies, but with all VW people trying to find these now too it is going to be hard. Have you thought about putting the stock brakes back on? BTW can you pm me some details about how much your tracklites where? Cause I'm thinking of getting some.

Didn't someone find out that the 02+ LS Sport wheels fit with one of the big brake setups? Don't know why but I could of sworn someone did..

Qwik look on the VW forums or a junkyard. vw 16's should fit over the them. and would be easier to find then a guy with 16's other than stock.
