feeler on possible part out

Well since its down yet again, I may part out the 02. Just trying to gauge interest in things right now. I know what I would like to get for things so if you see something on the list send a message with what you would offer if I part out.

HO intake manifold
2.3 TB bored out to 60mm
36# high impedence RC injectors
HO cams modified to work in a 2.4L (has CPS pad)
.430/222 Q4 cams modified for use in a 2.4L (no cps pad)
2.3 exhaust cam housing
2.4 intake cam housing modified for 2.3 lifters
obviously i also have 2.3 lifters
97 head with SS valves, 2.3 springs, 2.3 retainers, and 2.4 keepers
Eagle rods (as far as I know they are still in perfect shape, only have maybe 5K on them)
2.4 crank with 2.3 oil drive gear (.25mm undersize, GM regrind)
2.3 oil pump swap parts (pump, windage tray, brace, pickup tube, oil pan)

VIS OEM CF hood

Polished 95-99 Z wheels (semi usable Azenis 615's on them still)

Im sure I missed a few parts, so let me know.

Thanks for looking and possibly contributing to my addmitance of failure.

I am interested in the injectors, and possibly the .430 lift cams as well. I already have 2 ld9's with ho cams. Those might be fun to try out lol

I have a modified HO intake cam, but I would like to have one with the CPS pad. They are getting hard to find

Right now I am tendering the idea of trading the 02 for a 13 year old truck (its old but more usable than my damn car right now) and I would prefer to not let the car go with my parts in it, however the car has to drive to its new home if it goes. The really @!#$ty part is that all I need to fix it again is bearings, gaskets, pistons, and having another block modified for the oil pump swap plus machining for pistons. This is only a FEELER at this point in time. As stated before if you are interested in a part send a PM with an offer. First come first serve based on PM's if I part out.

Those wheels are my one "claim to fame". For the right price i will probably let them go

I do not have any pics of the cams after modification. The intake only has the PS drive mod, no CPS. It was done by Todd Miller, just like my HO cam was. The cams are fun, but damn near impossible to find anymore. I can assure you they were not cheap to pick up.

thanks. They are my "claim to fame" around here. Only thing that really stood out on either of my cars. At least 10 hours tied up in each one, lots of supplies as well.

i would not trade for the truck. if you do you will miss it and hate the truck.

I use the truck at least once a month as it is. I do enjoy driving a truck and would still have the 98. The 02 is a very long love/hate relationship. The name given to it was PDT (Project Down Time). In the past 3 years I have put 20K on it (16.5K in the year with the built S/C engine that held up).

Willing to sell just the shell

Re: feeler on possible part out

I tried that before and had no interest. I would be trading a complete running vehicle if I go through with the part out and trade. So obviously I would need enough interest to recover the cost of going back to stock. Sucks balls that 2.4"s cost about twice what an Eco does.

I have decided that some things can go and not really be missed.

OEM VIS hood
02 rear with lips and crash bar (could use repaint)
02 front lip (arival blue, never installed as far as i know)
02 rear li (arival blue, set up for "dual exhaust")

Make offers via PM.

I owe Jay Van some monies.

just out of curiousity. do you have piks of the rear mounted on a car with the dual exhaust. i was thinking about doing that but was unsure how it would look.

Auto or manual trans?

I know I just sold my spare manual, then I got an offer to help put somebody's manual J back together for him and I need a piece off a getrag. Doh.

are those new ho lifters??

R.I.P. Brian Klocke, you will never be forgotten

Re: feeler on possible part out

For the moment the engine is staying. i just dont need cosmetic parts. The car is in to rough of shape to bother trying to make it look good anyways. The car will just be on the back burner for a very long time.

the lifters actually have about 18K miles on them. Kinda need them for the cams though.

pics of the lips? very interested in them. also ball park for the wheels?

Re: feeler on possible part out

Ill see what I can do about pics. I have had other inquiries.

If I get a decent offer on the wheels I will probably let them go, however I have over 40 hours worth of work in them and over $500 in materials and supplies to do it. Money wold be nice but to sell them "cheap" is not really an option.

Managed to get some pics, parts are dirty.

The big area that looks like a huge mark is just a reflection from the window across the garage.
